i've been places, and i've done things. some i'm proud of, some i wish could be undone. but all things work together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His will (Romans 8:28) and i know He's takin' me places.

a wait is like an interval of a play. the scene ends when the alarum bells ring, and then there will be an interval, a break, a period of repose, a wait. the theatre is emptied as people leave to take a stretch and stroll. and at the end of the wait, they file back to the rigid seats to watch as the play goes on. the players get on stage, recite their lines, igniting passion, hunger, desire, lust, want, love. and as Romeo and Juliet reach the climax of their lovelife (their death. haha. losers.) the crowd sit on the edges of their seats, eagerly watching for The Thing to happen.

the wait was worth it, the ending spectacular. the crowd rose to give a standing ovation to the play's creator and to the players. the cast takes a bow and retreats backstage to enjoy the fruits of their labour. shouts of "encore" echoed through the hallowed hallways of the aesthetics, but the cast know that for the night, they were done. costumes are hung up and sent for cleaning and make up was wiped off. the dressing room remained in a mess of strewn outfits, ruffles, lace and velvet. the cast left, because the after party has yet to begin.

waiting, waiting, waiting. all i pray, is for Patience.

i don't want to be Juliet.too tragic. a flair too dramatic, even for a Drama Queen like me.
no. thank. you.
Capulets and Montagues can keep their fight to themselves. who the hell ever wanted a Romeo-Juliet story? so sad. so morbid. so... Shakespeare.

Stop making the eyes at me,
I'll stop making the eyes at you.
What it is that surprises me is that I don't really want you to
And your shoulders are frozen (as cold as the night)
Oh, but you're an explosion but you're dynamite
Your name isn't Rio, but I don't care for sand
Lightning the fuse might in a bang ba ba bang-go

well I bet that you look good on the dance floor
I don't know if you're looking for romance or
Don't know what you're looking for
Well I bet that you look good on the dance floor
Dancing to electro-pop like a robot from 1984

Oh there ain't no love
No Montagues or Capulets
We're just banging tunes and DJ sets and
Dirty dance floors and dreams of naughtiness

Well I bet that you look good on the dance floor
I don't know if you’re looking for romance or...
but you know what you're looking for (:
