daddy sent me something through e-mail and there was this picture of a dog which looked like a dog i had last time. (and the crowd goes: "WHAT THE?") yes, fools. i had not one, but TWO dogs. and so i started thinking of Shortie and the lives of dogs. i seriously miss Shortie and he was the best dog ever. honest. we bought him as a tiny tiny puppy and he grew up into a short welsh corgie he was born to be. i loved him. still do, actually. he's so well-trained that when we put a doggie treat in front of him and told him not to eat it, he'd stare at it and a pool of saliva would form at his feet, but he wouldn't touch the biscuit.
he was the one who welcomed me home from school everyday and he'd pounce on my and lick my face silly. he'd sleep with me and he'd scamper around and sniff the buttercups when i took him out for walks. perhaps that explains my love for buttercups. and i know i haven't brought it up in ages but..... i wish he was back here with me. SHORTIEEEE!!!!! :( aiken you lucky thing. take care of sparkie, i tell you. and walk him more often.
but obviously, i didn't post this just to reminisce on my ex-dog (although i actually would.) i just have to point out this fact, that dogs are THE most loyal things in the world. they're always there for you, and they never ever say the wrong things. well, mostly because they don't talk. but still. and dogs are the only ones who'll roll over to let you rub their tummy or sit still to let you scratch them between their ears. and they're the only one who'll run into walls while trying to catch a ball you flung.
okay so yes, that was totally random. following on my random streak, I WANT A BLUE CHEONG SAM. for CNY of course. and actually, i'd wear it just for fun also.
um.... PEOPLE! POOL PARTY AT MY HOUSE ON SUNDAY IS CANCELLED DUE TO
1) the overwhelmingness of Mr Tumms (so i can't be seen in anything less than an oversized turtle neck.)
2) the very fact that i have dance practice on sunday

i felt like i was overdressed today. haha. but then again, i've been feeling overdressed the past few days. ah well, better overdressed than underdressed, no? (or undressed. ahaha. ok. cold joke.)
so today was music practice (where i was late but i met my "er ge" on the bus and then we realized that he's already 24 and "da ge" is 26. doyng! they're old.) and then there was leaders and then there was YM then cell dinner then i went back to look for my YA cell.. we (or rather they. i didn't eat) had supper at beer and we linked like, 4 tables together. it was such a bizarre sight. and edmund looks like remy ong.
bizarre's like my new favourite word. hahahahahha bizarre bizarre.
but yes.. in 2008, i'm resolute in becoming God's perfect wife. so in that way i can 1)please God's heart and love Him to the best of my ability 2)become the perfect wife for my Mr Right (i still hope okayyyy. hahahahahahahhaha. 09, 09..) so ya, i can kill two birds with one stone like this. and its two pretty big birds to kill with one stone which is pretty hard to pick up. but! i can do it. i know i can.
casanova confuses me. one day he's a total hands on jerk. and the next day he's super thoughtful. SIAO AH. i conclude that he has an alter ego.

roland said something to me today which made me really really sad. i tried so so hard not to cry.. really tried. i was mostly successful, save for two drops.
